Additionally, the highest points of the design appear to have not been fully transferred from the die, indicating a low strike pressure. This weak strike is evident in the lack of detail on the eagle's head and body, as can be seen in the image above.

Also, the edges are weak and much of the detail on the eagle's wings is missing. The porous appearance on the obverse of the counterfeit coin is likely attributable to overuse of the obverse die, a condition often seen on counterfeit coins. Additionally, note the scratches located approximately at the 11 o'clock position on the reverse.
